October is Fire Prevention Month. This year’s theme is “Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety”. As we celebrate this year’s theme, we’ll be asking others some of the following questions: What is your alarm telling? Is there a beep or a chirp coming out of your smoke or carbon monoxide alarm? What does it mean? The overall idea is helping our communities understand one main thought: The idea of knowing the difference can save you, your home and your family.
Please contact our Fire Safety Coordinator, Hans B. Nelson, at hnelson@nwabor.org or call at (907) 442-8207 and let’s talk Fire Prevention Month.
