ARDOR Work Plan Activity Implementing the Goal

 

 

 

Provide small business grants to residents who are operating a business of have a sound plan to begin a small business

 
Provide small business loans for those who operate or are beginning a small business

 

Provide small business training classes on a semi-annual basis and individual assistance as requested

 

Organize and present annual Arctic Small Business gathering as a part of Annual Trade Fair

 

Administer an arts purchase and

Marketing program, allowing makers of quality arts and crafts to have regular cash outlet for their work

 

 

Make arts and crafts materials readily available to artists.

 

 

Provide business cards, advertising placards and web-page exposure for the artists of the region

 

Sponsor annual art competition to provide artists with the opportunity to gain recognition

Create art centers in the region’s villages so that artists have access to quality tools and working environment

 

 

Provide scholarships of $750 per semester for residents in college and in good standing and $350 per semester for voc ed students
