Thursday, July 8

7:00 p.m.        Singspiration at Episcopal Church ~ Special invitation to Russian   Visitors

Artists will hold workshops during each day for carving, sewing, basket making, beading, etc at the Cudd Hall and Senior Center.

Tables will be available for crafts sales at Senior Center Grounds.  Please contact Nancy Mercer at 442-3401 to confirm a table.  Vans are available for $100.00 for 3 days.  Tables between vans are available at $50.00 for 3 days. 

Arts & Craft Competition Categories:  Ivory Carving, Atikluks, Antler Carving, Bone Carving, Wood Carving, Skin Sewing, Grass Basket Making, Driftwood Carving, Jewelry, Birch Bark Baskets and Baleen Baskets.

When Russian visitors tulak, we will host qayaq races from Nullagvik Hotel to Rotmans and Kotzebue Eskimo Dancers will perform on the beach.  There is no time scheduled.  This classic event will occur whenever our visitors arrive.
