A New Radio Program for People Who Care About Alaska's
Kids!
The Program Kids These Days! is a series of radio call-in shows to be aired
once per month as part of the APRN Talk Of Alaska call-in program. Each
program topic will examine issues related to teens and families, and explore
ways parents and other adults can support positive youth development. The
first program is set to air on January 18, 2005.
The Hosts
Nancy Seamount - a K-12 counselor, high school health teacher, drug/alcohol
prevention specialist with both urban and rural experience and parent of one
and step parent of two - will team up with veteran Talk Of Alaska host Steve
Heimel to co-host Kids These Days!
The Topics
Listeners will be presented with timely, topical information and useful
strategies for coping with real issues facing young people, families,
educational institutions, businesses and communities. This live discussion
forum invites listeners from across Alaska to call in with specific
questions and comments. Topics for upcoming programs include:
