PUBLIC HEARINGS
Northwest Arctic Borough Planning Department has scheduled the following public hearings:
February 22, 2012 at 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Public hearing regarding alteration to a plat in Noatak, to dedicate a Right-of-Way (ROW) Easement for a public road from the village to the cemeteries.

Items for discussion:
- Petition for an alteration to a plat submitted by WH Pacific on behalf of NANA Regional Corporation on property owned by NANA Regional Corporation.
- Petition purpose: alter the existing Plat 89-6 and Plat 95-10 to provide a right-of-way (ROW) easement that will facilitate construction of a public road beginning at the Noatak Heights Subdivision to two existing Noatak Cemeteries north of the village.
- General description of the alteration: the purpose of the alteration is to prepare the property for road development by establishing a right-of-way (ROW) easement.
- Create a 2.07 mile right-of-way across NANA Regional Corporation land in Noatak
