Documents can be obtained at the Kotzebue DMV office:
The DMV accepts only cash payments
and requires that you present two pieces of
identification one of which must be either an
Alaska State ID, Birth Certificate, Canada BIA Card, License,
Instruction Permit, or Passport. Secondary documents that
can be presented in addition to these are: Military ID, Social
Security Card, State ID, Student ID, Court, Marriage or Divorce
Documents, Medical Insurance Documents.
The DMV's Hours of
Operation: Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-12:30 PM and is located at the Northwest Arctic Borough building,
163 Lagoon Street, Kotzebue, AK.
