Logo Contest

Competition Rules for all ages:

  • Logo design may be in color or black and white.
  • The work submitted must not have been used previously in public.
  • Design submission should be accompanied by a short written description of the design concept.
  • Work submitted by a group or class will be accepted.

How to enter:

  • Produce entry on paper no larger than 8.5 by 11.
  • Entries may be submitted by email.
  • If sending by regular mail, please use a floppy disk or CD Rom.
  • Please ensure that your full name, mailing address and contact telephone number are included with your submission.
  • Send logo submission to Valarie Romane Northwest Arctic Borough P.O. Box 1110 Kotzebue, AK 99752 or email: vromane@nwabor.org

Entry Period · The deadline for entries is May 3, 2002

Prizes · One winner will be selected and all entries will be eligible for participation prizes

Judging · Judging will be done by the Higher Education Consortium Communications Committee

Announcement of Winning entries · May 29, 2002

Please note: All entries submitted become the property of the Northwest Arctic Higher Education Consortium and will not be returned. Professional designers may reformat the winning logo. The winning entry will belong to the NAHEC.

Entry submissions and inquiries: Call the Northwest Arctic Borough office for Valarie Romane between 9:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday to pick up information on the mission and purpose of the Northwest Arctic Higher Education Consortium.

The following organizations have donated these prizes:
