Donald Ferguson
"Suluuq"

Named after his grandfather, Suluuq is a self taught artist from Kotzebue, AK. Working mainly with walrus and mastadon ivory for over four years, Suluuq accents his work with baleen.

"Most of what I make are scenes from Eskimo life", says Suluuq.

From building an igloo to hunting a beluga, and hunting seals to sled dog racing, Suluuq's expression and craftsmanship is revealed in his carvings, earrings and pendents.
