Agnes Hailstone

Agnes is a student of historical art of the region and her scrimshaw designs reflect her traditional approach. She is also famous for her fur sewing, using the hides of animals she hunts and tans herself! She lives at a camp near Candle, Alaska with her husband and six children, where they live a largely subsistence lifestyle.
