March 2007 Assembly Meeting held in Ambler
The Northwest Arctic Borough Assembly held committee, work session and it's regular meetings at the Ambler School March 26-27. It was a historic moment as it was the first time that the Borough Assembly has met outside of the Assembly Chambers in Kotzebue. The meeting was broadcast live over KOTZ radio. Calling all artists!! We are seeking original photos and artwork for our new library card design. All submissions should capture the essence, beauty and uniqueness of life in Northwest Alaska. The contest is open to everyone in the NANA region!
Important Dates March 24, 2008 - Contest Begins May 16, 2008 - Entries must be received or postmarked by May 16. May 16 - May 22, 2008 – Judging begins May 22, 2008 - Winner Announced The winner will receive a cash prize of $750. Appreciation gifts will be awarded to all participating artists.
